At the heart of the film is his profound friendship with Shane Krueger, a fellow music lover and the longtime owner of Appleton Imports, a beloved local record store. Their friendship, fractured by time and addiction, is tested as they attempt to reconnect and rebuild what was lost.

David Jackson is a distinguished photographer and director, renowned for his dynamic visual storytelling. As the owner of Jackson & Co., a leading commercial and advertising production company, he has consistently delivered compelling photography, motion video, and retouching projects to clients nationwide.
In collaboration with fellow filmmaker Adam Koepke, the two have earned accolades for their work in the film industry. Their partnership was notably recognized in 2014 when they received the Wildwood Film Festival Founder’s Choice Award for their short film, House No. 613. The following year, their grindhouse-inspired short, The South Pole, premiered at the same festival, further solidifying their reputation as innovative and unique storytellers. Jackson and Koepke produced and filmed the acclaimed music documentary LUMINAERIES: The Making of Polar Similar in 2016. This project, shot in Cannon Falls, MN, offered an intimate look into the band Norma Jean's writing and recording process. Their portfolio also includes the short documentaries Digital Dust (2018) and MAKING MUSIC: Ardent Guitars (2024).
