Connecting Land and Lens

In a powerful collaboration, Photo Opp joined forces with NE WI Land Trust, People of Progression, and Boys and Girls Club of Menasha to provide 15 students with a one-of-a-kind experience at the NE WI Land Trust's "Land Fest" event. This annual event, held at the beautiful Mt. Morris Conservancy, celebrates conservation successes and offers attendees a day of exploration in nature. For these students, it was a day of learning behind the lens, perfectly aligned with Photo Opp’s mission to inspire life-long learning through photography.

FOSTERING CREATIVITY
CULTIVATING POTENTIAL

The day took them through wetlands and prairies, where they studied the diversity of plant life, from wildflowers blooming in the prairie to tiny life forms hidden in the mud of the wetlands. With cameras in hand, the students were encouraged to look closer, focus on the details, and see the landscape from new perspectives.
